Who am I? I am a minister for people that want to celebrate their love!
Are you looking for a friendly minister to perform your wedding without hassles?
Are you uncomfortable with the strict rules involved with old fashioned churches?
I understand your needs...LIFE HAPPENS!
I specialize in helping couples that don't belong to a
congregation, and may be uncomfortable with some of the confusion involved with traditional churches.
I welcome interfaith marriages, and second marriages as well as blended
families. The pricing structure is affordable, and payment plans are available for couples on a tight budget.

Meet Your Officiant, Rev. Ann Cruz

Rev. Ann Cruz
I
began my career in the wedding industry in 1998, when I became a
wedding planner and relationship counselor. I fell in love with helping
people plan their weddings, and received a lot of personal satisfaction
from counseling couples in building healthy relationships with one
another. After five years of planning and counseling couples, I became
ordained as a nondenominational Christian minister. I am legally
recognized to perform wedding ceremonies in
Michigan and all other states.
I believe
that dedication to serving others is most important in leading a
successful life. I am the founder of "Midwest Marriage
Outreach", a program that helps disadvantaged couples get married and
stay married despite turbulent life circumstances.
My
undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies were earned
at Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame in 1992. My graduate studies were
done at California State University. I was
mentored in my ministerial role by noted social activist and minister, Rev. Albert Gay, founder
of Sons of the City Ministry in Gary, Indiana. My
PhD studies in Pastoral Counseling and Theological Anthropology were done through the Yadah
Institute, an independent theological institution, where I specialized
in European and Asian Theurgical Practices. My
studies have led to travel worldwide; I have visited the Vatican
in Rome numerous times, as well as other significant religious sites within Italy. I have also visited the Mayan Ruins at Tulum, overlooking the ocean on the
beautiful Yucatan peninsula.
While I love to travel abroad, my personal path is to focus on helping people in the United States of America...St. Luke Seminary graciously conferred upon me a Doctorate of Divinity
(Honoris Causa) for my "faith in action" as a volunteer counselor with
disadvantaged youth and families in the United States.
